Dr. Joshua Neer specializes in providing holistic, evidence-based care for individuals living with chronic and complex conditions, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD), POTS and other forms of dysautonomia, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), chronic pain, chronic fatigue, joint instability, and other multisystem conditions that are often misunderstood or overlooked in traditional healthcare settings. Through years of working closely with this population, Dr. Neer has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges, sensitivities, symptom patterns, and day-to-day realities these individuals face.

At Redeeming Motion, we believe healthy movement begins with a healthy foundation. Before the body can build strength or tolerate exercise well with chronic pain, it must first be prepared to move efficiently. Through skilled hands-on manual therapy, careful movement assessment, and individualized treatment, we work to optimize movement quality, proprioception, joint and soft tissue mechanics, and nervous system regulation to create a stronger foundation for healing. Rather than embracing a "no pain, no gain" philosophy, treatment progresses at a pace your body can tolerate, helping reduce unnecessary flare-ups while creating the foundation for meaningful, lasting progress.

Rather than focusing solely on isolated symptoms, care takes a whole-person approach that recognizes the interconnected nature of the body's musculoskeletal, nervous, cardiovascular, and other body systems. Treatment is designed to identify and address the underlying contributors to pain and dysfunction while considering movement patterns, daily function, lifestyle factors, and overall quality of life. In addition to in-person care, Redeeming Motion also offers virtual physical therapy services, making specialized care accessible to individuals who may not have experienced providers in their area.

As a patient, your treatment plan will be personalized to meet you exactly where you are. Through one-on-one care, Dr. Neer integrates skilled hands-on manual therapy, movement and proprioceptive retraining, individualized exercise progression, nervous system regulation strategies, patient education, and holistic support tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll help you build greater stability, function, and confidence in movement, so you can return to safe, joyful movement and the activities that matter most to you.
